The trial lesson is an online meeting where we will get to know each other. In ~30 minutes, we will discuss your needs and expectations. For example, I might ask, "What results would you like to gain in three months?" This meeting is free of charge as it benefits both you as a client (you'll feel more comfortable when the actual lesson begins) and me as a teacher. Online: 3000 yen, you'll have your private account with 24/7 access to the materials. Offline: 3000 yen.

英語:A Movie-Based course "Unwind"

概要: Improve L skills and boost vocabulary while watching a "Love Laughs At Andy Hardy" movie.
受講条件: A laptop or a desktop computer.
A stable Internet connection.
(If you'd like to take part in a discussion session after completing the course, you'll need to have a pair of good headphones and a microphone.)
詳細: I chose one movie from the Hollywood classics and divided it into four parts. Each part corresponds to one lesson, for a total of four lessons. As you complete each task in a lesson, you'll learn new words and phrases, figure out the meaning of jokes, listen to and read through complicated monologues and dialogues—in short, you'll prepare yourself to later watch every fragment of the movie and fully comprehend it.

This course will be useful if:
- You want to watch movies without subtitles.
- You're interested in the U.S. culture.
- You're always looking for new English vocabulary and real-life expressions.
- You'd like to complete various tasks on an interactive platform.
- You'd like to have a personal profile with a 24/7 access to the course.
- You'd like to have a meaningful discussion once you have finished the course.

先生に連絡を取り、確認させていただいた内容です。

(1) 現在の生徒数
プライベートの生徒さんが7人います。日本には6ヶ月前にきたので、教えるのは始めたばかりです。

(2) 日本語でのメール問い合わせについて
ひらがなOK、カタカナOK。

(3) 教材について（おすすめ教材など）
英語：Cambridge advanced grammar in use Martin Hewings. Raymond Murphy English Grammar in Use. Swan M. Practical English Vereshagina, Afanasyeva.

ロシア語：Khavronina Русский язык в упражнениях. Дорога в Россию. Здравствуй, русский язык. Русский самовар. Русский язык как иностранный Zhareva, Budilzheva.

(4) レッスン場所について（おすすめのカフェなど）
南与野駅から徒歩1分のマクドナルド。武蔵浦和駅から徒歩5分のオリンピックのテーブルがたくさんあるカフェ。

(5) レッスンについて（特に好んで教えているレッスンなど）
なんでも教えられます。強みはスピーキングです。自信を持って話す方法を教えることができます。そして、私も正しい発音をします。

(6) アピールポイント
ときどき生徒さんと出かけます。フリータイムに生徒さんと英語と日本語の練習をするのが好きです。

Daria先生のおかげで、IELTS6.0(TOEFL iBT80-89相当)を取る事が出来ました。
先生の授業を受けたのは半年程度です。授業を受ける前に受けたTOEFL iBTは59点だったので、１年間（授業を受けてなかった時期も含む）でTOEFL 30点分の英語力が上昇したことになります。
授業はオンラインで週に１回１時間でした。Daria先生の良いところは、こちらの事情に合わせてレッスン内容を変えてくれることだと思います。私は最初、英語面接の練習をしたいと申し込んだのですが、その系統のホームページ等を読み込んで英語面接で大切なことを教えてくれました。次に私はTOEFLの勉強がしたいと伝えたらTOEFL向けの授業をしてくれました。次に私がIELTSに変更したいと伝えたら、IELTSに必要な情報を集めて授業で教えてくれました。こちらが必要なことを伝えれば、それに合わせた授業をしていただける素晴らしい先生だと思います。
先生の欠点をあげるならば、日本語が話せないという事でしょうか。授業は最初から最後まで英語で行われますので、日本語が伝わらないと不安という方はDaria先生はやめておいた方がいいです。
